Support to the Development of the Criminal Policy, Prosecution and Investigation

The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the rule of law and human rights protections in Georgia in line with Georgia's international commitments, and to enhance and sustain results already achieved through the two prior phases of the EU Sector Policy Support Programme (BSP) to criminal justice sector. More specifically, the objective is to continue to support the MoJ in coordinating and monitoring implementation of the Criminal Justice Reform Strategy, and to advance reforms to the Prosecutor's Office and MIA in line with international standards and commitments.
