Technical Assistance Mission to the NAO officer (COFED) in DRC

Context: The mission is part of the global framework of cooperation between the European Union and the Democratic Republic of Congo, and more particularly with the technical services of the EDF National Authorizing Officer (ON), through the (COFED). COFED's specific objectives are to: (i) reinforce its control system vis-à-vis the project management units (PMUs); (ii) take into account the large volume of specific contracts; and (iii) consolidate ownership mechanisms in the management of EU Community assistance. Objectives: To ensure the COFED structure is consolidated in functional terms and in terms of appropriation, role and functions Contribute to the institutional strengthening of national authorities in the management and implementation of European programs and projects.
