Preparation of technical documentation for renovation/modernisations of gyms in primary schools and faculties of sport in Bosnia and Herzegovina and preparation of Tender Dossier for works

Objectives: Specific objectives of this contract is to do needs assessment for minimum 80 primary schools and 5 faculties of sport, complete necessary technical documentation needed for effective renovation and modernisation works of selected 40 schools and faculties' gyms and prepare Tender Dossier for works/supply and TOR for supervision of construction in accordance with PRAG. Outputs: Phase 1: Output A 1.1: Methodology containing specific criteria for selecting the primary schools to be visited (e.g. the level of development, expression of interest to take part, population numbers, socio-economic factors etc.) Output A 1.2: Questionnaire to be shared to schools and faculties Output A 1.3: Assessment report based on the received replies Output A 1.4: Field visits to those schools that provided replies and detailed report for each school/faculty on their needs in relation to renovation and modernisation of sports' gyms. Output A 1.5: Developed criteria for further selection of the schools and faculties for which detailed technical documentation will be prepared. The Contractor will have to work closely with the Ministry of Civil Affairs, Sectors for Sport and Education, relevant entity ministries and EUD Programme Manager. Output A 1.6: The needs assessment report will be presented and discussed with the Ministry of Civil Affairs, Sectors for Sport and Education, relevant entity ministries and EUD Programme Manager. Output A 1.7: Inception report Phase 2: Output A 2.1: Selected 40 primary schools/faculties which will be visited Output A 2.2: Conducted visits to minimum 40 schools and faculties (maximum 2 days per school) Output A 2.3: Minimum 40 technical documentations including technical specifications (Volume III), BoQs (Volume IV) and design documentation (Volume 5) for reconstruction, modernisation, renovation or rehabilitation of 40 selected schools/faculties gyms of an overall estimated value of EUR 2.5 million. All documentation which is subject of this output must be in line with the relevant BiH laws. Output 2.4: Tender Dossier for works/supplies (VOLUMES, (3,4 and 5) and ToR for supervision services. Tender Dossier(s) for the works including detailed options analyses for the most appropriate tendering strategy (e.g. several lots based on type of works or based on the geographical location of the sites); the recommendations and main inputs to the ToR for the supervision service contract based on project specificity. Output 2.5: Wrap-up meeting Output 2.6: Final report with annexes
