Data analysis consultancy for Joint Synthesis Report

Objectives Assess the impact of the EU and its Member States' actions in support of implementation of the SDGs in developing countries, in order to contribute to EU reporting to the 2023 HLPF, as part of the EU VNR to be prepared by the Commission for this event. This should be done in a manner that highlights the external projection of EU priorities under the von der Leyen Commission and the EU collective action, including in response to the Covid-19 crisis through Team Europe Specific objectives: The specific objective is that the contractors collate, assess and analyse the information gathered from existing reports and from the replies to the questionnaire to be sent to Member States and stakeholders, as well as information online from a range of EU and international sources (including reporting databases), to select and distil key information and data, to produce a foundation report for the Commission to form the basis of the JSR. The foundation report will be the most significant contribution to the preparation by the Commission of the JSR. Some of the initial general sections of the foundation report should be designed in a manner that supports the preparation for the overall EU Voluntary National Review, which will encompass internal and external actions to implement the SDGs, which will be coordinated by the Commission Secretary-General.
