Preparation of a Feasibility study for the establishment of National backhaul optical network in the Republic of North Macedonia according to the National Operational Broadband Plan

Objectives With the establishment of National Backhaul Optical Network (NBON), prerequisites will be created to decrease the broadband connectivity gap. The Feasibility Study provides guidance for improvement of infrastructure connection for provision of ultra-fast broadband/ internet for households and businesses in White zones and eligible Gray zones, as well as free Wi-Fi internet access. Specific objectives: Preparation of a Feasibility Study for establishing the National Backhaul Optical Network (NBON), according to the National Operational Broadband Plan (NOBP) of North Macedonia, and taking into consideration cross cutting aspects such as environment and climate change, human rights, persons with disability, indigenous peoples and gender equality.
