Final Evaluation Promove Comercio - Building competitiveness for exports

The evaluation assess the performance of the Promove Comercio - Building Competitiveness for Export (later on referred to as Promove Comercio). Specifically, it aims to understand factors facilitating success and hindering effectiveness of the programme, informing future EU interventions strategically. The evaluation's primary recipients include the EU Delegation in Mozambique, Mozambican authorities involved in trade and industry in Mozambique (Ministry of Economy), Mozambican public agencies and institutions such as the National Institute for Standardisation and Quality (INNOQ), the Institute for Promotion of SME (IPEME), the Investment and Export Promotion Agency (APIEX), as well as the main implementing UN bodies – UNIDO and UNCTAD. Key findings will also be shared with a broad audience including private sector representatives, other donors etc.

The evaluation has been be structured around four phases: i) inception, ii) interim (desk review followed by a field mission), iii) synthesis, and iv) dissemination.
