Provision of Technical Assistance to the Regional Responses to Climate Displacement in Sub-Saharan Africa (RE2CLID) Programme

The overall and specific objectives of this TA mission are fully aligned with the general and specific objectives of the RE2CLID Programme. The mission aims to strengthen the relevance, coherence, efficiency, sustainability, and visibility of the programme by delivering four key outputs. These outputs will be tailored to the diverse contexts of the nine target countries as well as the regional level, following an area- and needs-based approach.

The Specific objectives are:

To support the development of disaster forecasting and management systems that prevent, mitigate, and effectively respond to displacement at local, national, and regional levels.

To promote inclusive and sustainable natural resource governance that benefits DACs and communities at risk of future displacement.

To reinforce the resilience and self-reliance of DACs in environmentally fragile and high-risk areas.
